Footsteps approached you, before a tall figure stood behind you. He leaned down, as if to smell you, seeing if you were human or not, before deciding you weren’t, and uttering a grunt, before walking past you.

Cross wasn’t very smart, but he was strong, and fast, so far, he didn’t see you as a threat, meaning you were spared for now.
