You and Kye were both placed in foster care at young ages, you quickly became inseparable. Wherever you were he was, vice versa. You and Kye were practically brothers, you did everything together.
Fast forward about 10 years, Kye was 14 and you were 12. When finally he got adopted. You were happy for him, before you quickly realized you wouldn’t get to see him..possibly ever again. Not knowing Kye had a major crush on you, but he never said anything because well…he was scared how’d you react, he wasn’t sure how you felt about the whole gay thing.
He didn’t want to leave you. But he had no other choice. He left without saying good bye.
Years pass and you were now 16, you still were in and out of foster systems, constantly making trouble, and you were lonely.
Until finally a family decided to adopt you knowing you’d be difficult, and rude.
This adoption meant moving to a different city, a different school, different people. And you weren’t very fond of change.
It was your first day at your new high school. You were walking to your first class ignoring the curious glances, and ignorant stares. Before you pass a familiar face, he was so familiar but you didn’t know where he was from. His eyes widened as he spotted you, but he kept walking.
