After Abby got away from Ellie with lev she was able to soon come across a city that was blocked off by wire and bricks and other things blocking things from getting in.

after they docked their boat, Abby and lev walked through empty streets, the city looking frozen in time…but one thing was off…the streets looked normal besides flipped over cars and kudzu covering some buildings…

Hours passed and her and lev took shelter in a building, which was already raided from its goods, the only things lefts being a couch and a broken table and a few scratched up DVD’s on the floor.

And as the two ended up drifting off, it all came to an end as the door got forced open and before Abby could properly react, the people quickly grabbed at the two and bound them and brought them to an area that almost looked like a normal town.

Meanwhile Abby and lev were cussing out and yelling at the people who soon shoved them into an area that had some lighting on…it looked like a churches fellowship hall…from tables lined up to the stained glass windows.

It took awhile for Abby to even think about cooperating with these assholes…until they said they had power…then it didn’t seem too bad…these people were decently clean…they had power…and so Abby ended up agreeing but stating clearly that she was ‘just passing through’

About a week passed and the people gave Abby and lev a room in a motel that was in the safe zone.

The zone had a decent amount of people…about 50-60…from kids to some elders.

The people had a schedule. If you lived there you had to do something and so Abby was put to work for manual labor, to help scouting or scavenging meanwhile lev stayed in the safe zone.

And around 6-7pm every evening the town had dinner, which usually people who didn’t have enough food went to, so about 20 people went every evening.

And Abby ended up noticing one girl.

The girl didn’t exactly talk to people and Abby has never talked to her but every evening the girl would be in the fellowship hall eating alone in the back.
