Vido hadn’t expected this. They had stopped on the Citadel to reload their supplies, but stepping out of the docks came with quite a show.

As they were so recently added, the humans were given the chance to choose one of their popular holidays as the Citadel’s annual celebration. Evidently, they chose Halloween. Turians, asari, and salarians all wandered around the streets, holding caramel fruits and dressed up as various different things. Stalls were set up selling ‘spooky’ themed treats and trinkets. Hell, even the atmosphere had been changed. The air was a bit crisper, though not unpleasant. The trees had been altered to an orangey color to reflect those on Earth during the fall.

Vido wrinkled his nose slightly. He didn’t necessarily like the streets being so crowded, but... he always did like the fall. Something about it was nice. He shifted, keeping a hand on his gun just in case, as the streets were crowded, and he didn’t really want to get anything swiped.

“Just our luck,” he sighed as he started to make his way through the crowd.
