“New patient, do you how d-”

I stopped in the middle of my sentence once I saw a five year old, sitting on the couch of my office, I got confused and looked around, I walked to the couch and kneeled down in front of the kid.

“Well, where did you come from, you little ray of sunshine?”

I said in a playful tone, taking my finger and booping you on the nose, I absolutely loved kid's but I didn't know where you came from.
