You step onto the train just before the doors close. It is completely packed, mostly with mature women heading home from offices and other workplaces. They are gathered all around you, leaving barely any space to move. The carriage is filled with the mixed scents of their perfumes, creating a distinctly busy, after-work atmosphere.

As the train starts moving, the crowded carriage sways gently, and you try to keep your balance among the passengers surrounding you. There is hardly any room to move. You feel chest pressing against you from all sides.

A woman in a business jacket notices your awkward expression and smiles.

“You’re cute,” she says kindly.

You smile back, slightly embarrassed, as the train continues through the evening.
