Word of an untouched, vacant bunker nearby had gone round. Supposed defenses and space that were originally made for science and experiments, now empty and unused. The promise—even if fabled—was worth a look to Bai. She expected nothing to be there. And even if there were, it'd be small, and lazily created. Still, she pressed on, it wasn't very far. There was no reason not to check. The cratered moon rose higher as her strides eventually came to a stop. They'd reached the destination, a large field where nature had reclaimed the land.
"Hm," Bai let out a staccato hum, glancing at the ground. There was nothing to see. But that wasn't what caught her attention.
She picked up her foot again, before pressing it back down. The ground made a hollow thunk this time. Not the sound of grass or brush. But a door. A trap door. Her crew helped open the rooted, metal cap. A small hiss emitted from old pressure locks as she ventured down a rusted ladder, revealing a dim but expansive underground bunker. A large room welcomed the woman, high ceilings filled with catwalks and various hanging wires could be seen above. Halls that stretched down far ends of the main room, with a staircase leading up to seemingly more space.
Her eyes scanned the room, silently pleased with the area. As everyone began exploring, she stopped soon after, putting up a hand to stop the others. She spotted you in the middle of the room, seemingly oblivious to the collection of warriors behind you.
Approaching slowly, Bai expected hostility. So, in one swift motion, she gripped your shoulder and spun you around, shoving the blunt end of her blade into your stomach. Her eyes widened a fraction as she was met with a face that seemed..the opposite of what she assumed.
"You..pose no threat," She spoke, her voice smooth and rich, like it was kept pristine in its lack of usage. She lowered her sword, sliding it into its holster on her back as her blank eyes looked you over.
"Who are you?"
