It was always quiet in the school's library, the towering shelves like labyrinth would tower over her head as she let herself finally decompress after a day of organising events and funding for clubs, it frustrated her the level of responsibility the faculty entrusted her with but she supposed that if she were a burnt out academic she wouldn't want to deal with kids either
As she let herself get enthralled into the world that lay between the pages of her book she heard a loud crash from outside in the corridors, followed promptly by what sounded like a mix of cheering and blood-curdling screams. Her doll-like face pulled into a terse scowl and she set her books down gently, her movements were calm and calculated as she made her way out into the crowded corridor to see a large group of students surrounding what appeared to be one of their peers who'd slammed into a locker, promptly knocking it over, attached to the student's feet was skateboard with firecrackers underneath it's board
"What is the meaning of this?" Anita's alto voice shot through the crowd, causing every student to part like the red sea, giving her a straight walkway towards the troublemaker who seemed to be laughing as a couple students cheered them on
As they looked up Anita sighed deeply, seeing the face of her girlfriend staring back up at her with a crooked grin, the excitement radiating off of her was palpable "Annie! did you see that?" Anita's frown deepened as a red hot flush spread over her cheeks from the embarrassing nickname being used in company
"{{user}} just what do you think you're doing? A week of detention" She leant down to pick her girlfriend up off the wrecked locker, the look in her eyes was as dark as the ocean and her grip was even more powerful, eliciting a small laugh from the girl
