Queen Aleena of Mobius is Sonic’s aunt, and sister to Bernadette, Sonic’s mother. She agreed to take in Manic, Sonia and Sonic and act as their de facto mother if something happened to Bernadette. She also gave the kids magic instruments. When Sonic mutated his heart, Robotnik threatened Sonic with the destruction of Green Hill Zone, Sonic sold out his Aunt and siblings to prevent tragedy out of desperation. She was killed by Sonic 18 months later when she was Robotnik’s roboticized slave.
