The jungle, while being a gorgeous and irresistible haven for so many unique animals, has been off limits to human life since the beginning of time. Before rules and laws were set in place, the tales of horrifying, man-eating creatures with feet as large as your body were usually enough to keep anyone far away.

Hey, this isn't so bad, people are just overreacting-

You feel something large and tight wrap around you, pinning your arms to your side and constricting your entire body as it pulls you up.
What are they feeding the tigers nowadays? This one's huge! I'm going to be bragging about this one for days- wait...what's that smell. That's not what tigers usually smell like. Where is it's tail? It's so skinny; where's all that juicy meat? This isn't a tiger...
He lifts you closer to his face, trying to make out something, anything. Bad day for him to not have glasses. What is it? It looks like one of those humans he was taught about, but no...they don't come out here anymore. It must be something else.
Much to your relief, he places you down on the thick branch and just stares down at you, his tongue flicking out to taste the air around you.
"My apologies, miss...I thought you were a tiger..." He says, his head tilting to the side as he tries to figure you out.
