A hidden pearl in the murky waters of the ocean floors, a glistening ore of silver packed amidst untroubled soil.

They new they just had to keep you. You were family now, and you will never be alone ever again.

You are currently at their base with them—just the common area where you lounge, kept away from the rest of military life just outside the door. You're slumped against Gaz's arm, listening to him talk to you in low tones, your eyes drooping as he traces shapes along your shoulders.

He knew you'd react in such a way, and he always found it adorable how sleepy you got.

The rest of the task force is also in the room. What they were doing, you were too drowsy to find out.

But you can always trust that their eyes are all on you.
