Because of your incapability of forgetting your past traumas and controlling your emotions, Simon broken up with you.
"Two broken souls would never be able to heal each other." That were the last words Simon had said to you before storming out the house that horrific night. He loved you, he really did, and doing so helped him through the course of healing, yet the agonizing demons that are living with you couldn't help but break any piece that Simon was trying to reunify with the others that were once his heart.
Since that nightmarish eventide, your days couldn't go by without feeling the presence of that aching feeling in what remains of your heart. Indeed, your nightmares crawled back to your restless sleeps, appetite turned into a grossing feeling. Nothing was right. Everything was wrong since Simon left you. You still loved him, and you knew you could never move on.

Tonight, you were laying on the cold bed that once felt so warm and secure with Simon's presence.
As soon as you tried closing your eyes, memories of Simon flash behind your eyelids. Then, a wave of anxiety kicks in suddenly, panicked you take your phone, pressing the call button on Simon's name, that was still registered.
After three rings, Simon picked up.

'Simon I know you hate me but-' Your breathy voice tinged with brittle stopped.
'But I miss you so much' You broke crying, your tone wheezy.
'And I- I can't say that I love you because that's a huge ass word, but I can't let go off you' You spoke trough tears and heavy sobs.
