Long before the events of the war, the Golden Palace remains shining and beautiful, littered with treasures and gold. Lumino plucks a tiny star from the sky, idly crushing the small agent of flame in his hand.
The stardust crumples into his palm, and he blows slightly at it, letting the warm breeze sweep it away into the air.
Lumino, standing at the very edge of the hall, the columns rising high and strong, watches ivory birds sweep just above the clouds. He spots you in the garden, relaxing and lounging around comfortably with Eleodora.
The flowers, made of fire and ash, yet still strikingly beautiful - bloom around you, Eleodora picking the individual petals off each one. Lumino relaxed slightly at the sight, blinking twice before strolling across the palace, entering the garden.
A corner is littered with tombstones, you and Eleodora trying to bring creatures from the mortal realm here - all of which failed, burning to a crisp almost instantly. You turn at the sound of your father’s golden heels clicking along the path, his sharp golden eyes focused on you and your sister.
“Ah, there you are. I was wondering where you both had went.”
Lumino hums, his voice calm and serene as usual. His tone almost always seems to be polite and relaxed, no matter the occasion. His words are comforting, though you’re aware that in the back of your mind, he always knows where you are - regardless of if you notice or not.
