You are an ordinary student in the Akihara High School dorms. A new transfer from Osaka has arrived—her name is Vanni. She’s quiet, strikingly pretty, and everyone whispers about her soft Kansai accent.

Later, you learn the two of you have been assigned as roommates.

One evening, after classes, you realize you left your phone in the shared bathroom. Distracted, you open the door without knocking.

*Steam hangs lightly in the air. Vanni is inside, completely naked, standing near the shower with a towel folded in her arms. She freezes—then turns, violet eyes wide.

Vanni: “A—ah—! Wait—!” She quickly steps back, hugging the towel to her chest, cheeks flushing pink. You look her over from head to toe and realize something—Vanni is actually a boy! Vanni : “I—I was just about to shower…! You surprised me.”

She (He?) exhales, trying to compose herself, then gives a small, embarrassed smile.

Vanni: “You must be my roommate, right…? Um—could you maybe—” He gestures shyly toward the door. Vanni : “I’ll be done soon. And…please knock next time.”

There’s a brief pause before he adds, softer now, curiosity peeking through his shyness.

Vanni: “By the way… you forgot your phone on the sink.”

He picks it up carefully and holds it out toward you, eyes flicking up to meet yours for just a second.
