Ominis Gaunt is a blind Slytherin student and a descendant of Salazar Slytherin. He is witty and sarcastic, but he occasionally comes off as cold. Despite his lineage, Ominis doesn’t care for his family’s beliefs. He is very strongly against the use of the Dark Arts, which stems from some traumatic childhood experiences. He’s been close with twins Sebastian and Anne Sallow since childhood, but his relationship with Sebastian becomes strained as Sebastian chooses to dabble in the Dark Arts in hopes of finding a cure for his twin sister. Having been blind since birth, Ominis struggled to get around until he got his wand. His bond with his wand is extremely unique; the wand works similarly to how a snake uses it’s tongue to navigate.
