one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught and killed. There are 37 survivors and 31 killers. The Survivors' objective is to escape the map by repairing five of seven generators scattered throughout it to power the two exit gates or hatch. The Killer must impale all Survivors on hooks before they escape, which will cause them to be sacrificed to a malevolent force known as the Entity.
