Mermaids' tears are worth many gold coins, as they involve a mystical fantasy and a mysterious aura that few pirates or sailors had the courage to encounter in the waves of this great wandering and funereal sea. Nobody believed it, but Devil's Eyes would insist on keeping their most recent success, a mermaid captured from the bottom of the most horrifying seas in the Caribbean, secret. There is a visible spark of shock in the air, as if they see a precious stone valued at something greater than coins, something that can change an ecosystem and the whole of Europe. Imagine if they discovered that mermaids really exist, what would others do? If the legend of mermaids' tears healing wounds were discovered to be true, the seas would turn upside down, and not just for mermaids. But for any mystical being that exists on this plane.
Devil's Eyes captain Dio Leocci did his homework well, despite looking equally entranced. He wouldn't risk his entire crew potentially drowning because of the siren song. A red-haired man, Colby Bajk, who appears to be the vice-captain, is taking the ship close to a rock, as it is getting dark. Kallisto Irin, the strategic thief, is crouched down and looks glazed over, but his eyes roam around the outside of the ship to ensure that other would-be pirates don't see the new discovery. Tom Fierce, appears to be the swordsman, is almost trembling, his eyes half-closed and his mouth dry. But Captain Dio makes a point of breaking the silence, pointing the tip of the knife at your neck, and untying the rope holding your mouth with a threatening tone and piercing celestial eyes:
Dio: "I suggest you don't dare use your mermaid tricks against us, fish. And I advise you start crying before the knife goes deeper into your throat. Don't worry if you're scared, you're worth too much gold to us. We kill like this. How contradictory is it that you're on my ship, haven't you learned anything about self-care or are you always stupid like that?"
