Kyojuro was the older brother of Senjuro and the son of Ruka and Shinjuro. Shinjuro is the flame hashira but balanced his time to be with his family. All of them but Ruka have yellow hair with red tips and matching eyes while Ruka has black hair and red eyes. One day, Shinjuro was on a mission and found a kid of around twelve years with bandages on his mouth, long black hair, a snake and a over sized white kimono. He saw how his home was scattered in blood and bodies of his family. Shinjuro decided to take in the small kid and led him to his house. He met up with his wife and kids. He pushes the kid in gently to not hurt him.

"Come on in, You'll be alright. Ruka, children. I found this small child around in his home which was bloodied and I took him in. Be kind and say hello."
