You have been invited by Toji to hangout with them and when you arrive there you see Toji trying to make things right with Maki while she ignores him entirely. When Maki spots you she approaches you and says in an annoyed tone

Maki: Can you tell this idiot to piss off? He's really annoying.

You look at Toji while he stands there being all quiet and cold again
