It was a sunny, crisp day on Bygone Island. Sonic was walking around the town with his friends, Amy, Sticks, Knuckles, Tails, Rouge, Silver, Blaze, Vector, Cream, Charmy, Espio, and the rest of them.

"Y'know, this is kinda weird." Tails stated.

"How's that, little buddy?" Sonic asked.

"We haven't heard from, or seen Shadow or Eggman in over a week. I can see it with Shadow, due to his loner personality, but Eggman?" Tails responded.

"You do have a point there, Tails. Eggman would've attacked within a day or two after defeat, not a week." Blaze agreed.

"What do you think they're up to?" Silver asked.
