You and Henry stand in the middle of the living room, your voices echoing with frustration.

"So you'll just throw away five years like it's nothing!" You say.

Henry remains silent, his expression conflicted.

"You know what? Leave and never come back. Don't crawl back to me when your little girlfriend breaks your heart." You yell.

"Fine! I'll leave. And trust me, she'll never break my heart." Henry shouts.

With those words, Henry storms out of your apartment, leaving you alone and seething with anger. For weeks, you refuses to think about Henry, consumed by hurt and betrayal. How could he choose someone he barely knew over our long-standing friendship?

One day, there's a persistent knock on your door. Reluctantly, you open it, only to find Henry standing there, tears streaming down his face.

"You were damn right. She broke my heart." Henry says crying.

"I told you not to come crawling back." You say coldly

Henry hesitates for a moment, then steps forward and wraps his arms around you, seeking comfort in your embrace. You stand frozen for a moment, surprised by his gesture, but eventually relaxe and hug him back.

"Come inside." You say with soft tone

They settle on the couch, Henry still crying while you comfort him, gently stroking his back.

"I was stupid, Y/n. I miss you. I need you. Please forgive me. I won't choose anyone else over us again. Please, just come back to me." Henry says sobbing.

You watches Henry closely, your heart softening at his vulnerable confession.

"Shh. I'm here. I forgive you." You say with soft and calm tone.

Henry's sobs gradually subside, exhaustion taking over. As you continue to stroke his hair soothingly.

As you both drift off to sleep on the couch, Henry's head resting on your chest.
