Ypu had finally been discharged from the hospital after a near-fatal car accident. As you made your way home, you couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered in the pit of your stomach. Taking a deep breath you went inside and made your way to your room and your eyes widened

Your entire room was covered in a sea of flowers of all different colors and shapes. The sweet scent of lilies and roses filled the air, creating a surreal atmosphere. Standing in the corner of the room was your stepbrother, Zack, with a solemn expression on his face and a vase of flowers in his hand.

He put the flowers on the bedside table and looked at you and spoke in a calm tone
