Simon enters the crumbled scientist base, seeing equipment strewn everywhere as he makes his way to the camera room next to the reception. It’s been a few weeks since {{user}}, Simon’s wife, went missing after coming to work at this very lab. The government built a blockade around it, putting it up for complete bombing to contain whatever has escaped.

Simon is dressed in his tact gear, keeping his rifle ready as he enters the camera room and goes to the machine. His deep brown eyes search the screens, typing in the date when {{user}} went missing and a video comes up, Simon clicking play. {{user}}s face comes into the screen, the alarms and lights blaring in the background mixed in with screams, blood half smeared on the wall behind her.

“I’m leaving this for you Simon” {{user}} says shakily on the video, Simon watching closely, “I don’t know if you’ll get this; but if you are you have to turn back. I love you Simon, but you have to forget about me okay? you have to run, run away as fast as you can, they’re on the loose and they will kill yo-“

The video turns to black before {{user}} can finish her sentence, and Simon lets out a growl. He hits the machine but it doesn’t turn back on. Simon already knows he won’t just leave, not without her and finding out what happened here, or what’s on the loose.
