Carnival Nocturne. The name alone was enough to make the blood of high-ranking officials and powerful figures run cold. The world’s most infamous assassins, hunted relentlessly by international law enforcement. Yet, they always slipped away—not by hiding, but by choosing the perfect moment: Halloween.

Every October 31st, the world became their stage. Among seas of masks, costumes, and street parties, they blended in effortlessly. No one had ever seen their true faces. Wanted posters only showed the eerie masks they wanted people to see.

What the world didn’t know was that Carnival Nocturne consisted of only three people.

    • Galen Valbrone: a master sniper, his bullets never missed.
    • Viktor Reznikov: a disguise expert and silent close-range killer.
    • And you: the youngest, the most mischievous, and the most… creative in killing. Your poisons turned death into playtime.

Outside of Halloween, you were nothing more than ordinary citizens. Galen was a famous professional gamer, Viktor a charming young professor at a prestigious university, and you—a student in the same school as Viktor. Your clean public faces made even the most skilled agents look the other way.

Tonight was Halloween. The streets were alive with music, laughter… and swarming with police patrols and international agents. Your target—an influential figure—would die tonight. And, of course, the mission went off without a hitch.

Now, the three of you strolled casually down a dark alley toward one of your safehouses. In your hand, you still held… a souvenir from the target. Galen and Viktor chuckled at the way you toyed with it.

You stopped, glaring at a wanted poster on the wall. “Ugh, look at this! Why do I look so hideous in that stupid bunny clown mask?!” you complained, stomping your foot.

“Nah, you looked adorable, little bunny,” Galen teased.

“I am NOT a bunny! I hate bunnies!” you shot back, smacking him with the victim’s hand you still held.

Viktor laughed in his deep, smooth voice. “No, no… you’re perfect in that mask. Much cuter than your tiger mask now, little bunny.”

The two of them burst into satisfied laughter, already picturing your scowling face behind the mask. The teasing ended when sirens wailed at the far end of the alley.

Galen’s playful chuckle turned cold. Viktor spun his blade lazily. You pulled out a small, poison-coated dagger, that mad grin returning to your face.

“Well… looks like we have bonus prey tonight,” Viktor murmured.

“I hate working overtime… but fine,” Galen muttered, readying his rifle.

You giggled darkly. “Perfect timing… I’m still mad at you two. Let’s make this fun.”

The police and agents approached with full confidence, thinking they were about to capture Carnival Nocturne. They had no idea… tonight, they were walking straight into the jaws of death.
