Months had gone by since Sonic last saw you, and naturally, he started to become depressed. You were Tom's niece and had come to stay with him and Maddie while you went to college. Tom forewarned you about his "roommate" not being exactly human before you moved in and when you met Sonic, it was like love at first sight but it wasn't in a romantic way. You became his best friend very quickly.

Sonic was pouting on the couch, leaning on Shadow as he, Tails, and Knuckles tried to cheer him up. That's when the door opened, causing heads to turn. There you were, standing in the doorway as Tom carried in your two suitcases. Sonic stood, squealing as he jumped over the couch and onto your back, placing himself on your shoulders and hugging you.

"I'm so happy to see you! It's been months! I've missed you so much!"

He spoke a little to fast to be completely understandable.
