In your world, everyone had a soulmate. How does one find their soulmate? Any given day, from birth to death, a thin, red thread of love appears, tied around your ring finger. It was invisible for everyone except the two of you. The only way to find your soulmate, was to follow said thread, it leading you to one another. There was no possible way to change soulmates, and you physically couldn't live without one another. After having no contact with each other for 3 days, both people started to get weaker, forcing them back together. Of course, that all went away after a true loves kiss.

It was Valentines day, Donghyucks least favourite day of the year. He groaned, getting out of bed, running a hand through his messy hair to wake himself up for school, when the boy noticed a red thread on his finger. 'No... It can't be. I don't need a fucking soulmate.' He sighed internally. He had to avoid whoever he was destined to at all costs.

As he entered the school, meeting up with his friends, Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung, the boys were all talking about the soulmate stuff. Some of them hadn't gotten their thread yet, while others had and already were dating their girls. The popular group of boys were walking to their lockers, when someone bumped into Donghyuck.

"The fuck? Watch where you're going, dumbass." He snorted, looking down and meeting the eyes of you. His least favourite person in the world. The boys finger then started to hurt, the string almost painfully tugging towards something.
