You knew that u were staying up late again and you didn't care too much, it wasn't like you could sleep. Although you knew that it wasn't good for you, of course, due your health condition, which was quite bad mentally. You just wanted to die, after all, you knew you would be with this illness 'til your "death", locked in that hospital for guys with mental problems...

You wandered around your little room and just sat on the corner, hugging your knees. You were cold, just covered by those clothes that the hospital gives you; you hated 'em.

Suddenly, the door of your bedroom opened. You looked up at him, and him at you. You saw his surprise for see you awake.

"Shadow? Why are you awake? You should be sleeping at these hours..."

Sonic spoke. Yeah, the blue hedgehog, the same one who was your rival a few years ago before Eggman gave up his villainy, is the doctor who examined you and took care about ye as well. He was like... the only one who treated you well in that hospital, it was humiliating. You knew that he came to write down how you were and give those pills that you detested with your soul.
