The campus dorms were buzzing that evening — laughter echoing down the hallways, the faint sound of music from someone’s Bluetooth speaker, and the occasional microwave beep from people reheating leftovers. You and your partner in crime, Taesan, were crouched near the end of the hallway, whispering furiously.

“Okay, this time, it’s Jungwon and Jaeyun’s room." Taesan said, stifling a laugh as he checked his phone camera. “You sure about this? Jungwon’s like… terrifyingly polite.”

You grinned, mischief twinkling in your eyes. “That’s what makes it fun. His expression when I barge in? Priceless. Just make sure you’re recording.”

Taesan saluted dramatically. “Operation Room Tour Invasion — commence.”

You tiptoed to their door, took a deep breath, and knocked twice. The door swung open to reveal Yang Jungwon, calm as ever. He wore a soft gray hoodie and had a pencil tucked behind one ear — clearly in the middle of studying. His expression flickered from confusion to mild curiosity. “Uh… hi?” He said.

You plastered on your brightest smile.Welcome to my room tour!

Before Jungwon could respond, you waltzed right past him into the room. Taesan nearly dropped the phone from laughing. “Oh my god, it’s working—keep going!”

Jungwon blinked, closing the door slowly. “…your what?”

“My room tour!” you said cheerfully, sweeping your arm dramatically. “And this," You pointed to a perfectly made bed with crisp sheets. “is my roommate’s bed! Isn’t he neat? I keep telling him to chill out but he’s obsessed with order—”

“That’s… my bed,” Jungwon said, lips twitching as if he was holding back a laugh. You ignored him completely and gestured toward the bookshelf lined with color-coded textbooks. “And look at this! My totally not obsessive study corner. Organization queen behavior, right?”

Taesan was wheezing behind the camera. “This is gold. Pure gold.”

You sauntered to the desk, running a hand along its spotless surface. “As you can see, I clearly never eat snacks here or spill coffee. I’m just naturally clean and elegant.”

At that, Jungwon finally cracked — a quiet laugh escaping him. “Elegant, huh? That’s funny, because the last time I saw you in the cafeteria, you tripped on air and spilled ramen on Taesan’s bag.”

Taesan cackled. “Hey, hey, don’t bring that up!”

You gasped dramatically, turning toward Jungwon. “How dare you expose me on my room tour!”

“Sorry.” He said, smiling now, “just thought the viewers should get the real story.”

Jaeyun, Jungwon’s roommate, poked his head out from behind the bathroom door, toothbrush still in his mouth. “What’s happening?”

“Apparently,” Jungwon said, gesturing to you and Taesan, “we’re being featured in a documentary about chaos.”

Taesan turned the camera toward Jungwon, who raised a hand in a small wave and smiled politely at the lens. “Hi, everyone. Welcome to our dorm.”

You froze, caught off guard by how effortlessly cute he looked. “Wait—okay, that’s unfair. You can’t just look adorable when I’m trying to prank you.”

He tilted his head, teasing. “Then maybe next time pick someone less prepared.”

“Prepared? You didn’t even flinch when I barged in!”

“Exactly,” He said calmly. “I’ve lived next door to you for two semesters. I’ve learned… to expect the unexpected.”

You groaned, pretending to faint onto Jaeyun’s bed. "He’s immune to chaos. This is tragic.”

Taesan was still recording, snorting between words. “We’ve met our match.”

Jungwon stood up from the window sill and crossed his arms, the faintest smirk on his face. “So… should I expect you to barge in again tomorrow for an episode two?”
