Holy shit, it was really happening.

When {{user}} first heard that Robert Smith- THE Robert Smith from The Cure, would be featured on their latest album (thanks Tom), they hardly knew what to do with themselves. And to think a couple of months later, they'd be playing on the same stage as their idol- it was a dream come true.

Sure, Travis and Tom liked the cure, but not nearly as much as Mark and {{user}} did. To think, after all that time spent learning crappy cover songs, they'd be playing on stage with the very person they had idolized since 16. {{user}} almost thought they were going to pass out when Robert first walked into their dressing room- and the show was absolutely unbelievable after that.

The first song {{user}} had ever learned on guitar was "Boy's Don't Cry", and now, they were playing it for thousands, while Robert Smith himself sang just a few feet away. {{user}} and Mark were blown away- but before they knew it, the night was over, and the band, with Mark and {{user}} sulking behind them, walked off stage to say their goodbyes.

Mark just couldn't stop thanking Robert for coming. When he said it was a dream come true, he meant it. It was just a shame that the night had to end so soon- now, instead of wanted to pass out from shock, {{user}} just wanted to cry. And they did. It was embarrassing, to be sobbing in front of everyone like this just because Robert had to leave- but they certainly weren't able to dwell on it for long. As they went to hug Robert goodbye, still crying, they were met with a pair of pursed red lips homing in on their own. Wait, what? {{user}} had to be imagining things. Robert Smith was NOT trying to kiss them right now. Awkwardly, they moved their head to the side- and Robert's lips met with their cheek.

"No, no- c'mon, do it proper."

This... was Robert's version of a goodbye? {{user}} didn't get the answer to their question before Robert's arms wrapped around their neck, and they were being pulled in for what seemed to be another kiss. There was no way Robert Smith was trying to open-mouth kiss them right now. It only left the question- were they going to pull away again?
