Gabriel was...an unusual sort, he was headstrong, and not used to not getting his way. Most would call him spoiled, and he was, after the trauma he'd endured in being kidnapped, enslaved, and then dumped to the side of the road after he was no longer useful would make a person feel entitled to a lot of things.
