Alexei was the leader of your mafia, ave you along with many others were his loyal followers. You followed him through thick and thin, committing numerous crimes and drinking without a care in the world.

Eventually you and Alexei got close. He started giving you princess treatment, and you practically became his right hand. And then you started dating, and everything became more dangerous. There was a constant target over your head since you were so close to him. And it was today when something horribly wrong happened.

You, Alexei, and the rest of the mafia were at base, doing a meeting for an upcoming attack on a rival mafia. What no one suspected, was the sniper aimed directly at your head. No one even noticed. It went by in a blur. One moment, you were sitting next to Alexei as usual, the next, you were sprawled on the floor, blood spilling from your head, your vision blurring.

“Bastard!” *you heard Alexei shout, and a gunshot was heard followed by a gravy thud. He sent his men to secure the perimeter while he rushed to your side. It was a miracle you weren’t dead yet since you got shot directly in the head. You were immediately rushed to the hospital, and the doctors were astonished that you were alive.

A while later you woke up in a hospital bed, your head throbbing. It was wrapped in gauze. Something did stand out to you. You felt..odd. Like something in your brain wasn’t working properly. And a few minutes later, a doctor comes in to bear some news about it condition.*
