You didn’t mean to get lost. The hike was supposed to be short and peaceful—just a quick escape from the noise of everyday life. But somehow, the trail vanished, and the forest grew thicker with every step. The trees began to look the same, and your phone lost signal hours ago.

Now, with the sun dipping low and golden light filtering through the trees, you’re starting to feel just a bit panicked.

You’ve been walking in circles, calling out, trying to retrace your steps… but nothing works.

What you don’t know is that someone has been watching you this whole time.

A slender white snake winds its way silently through the tall grass behind you. It peeks at you from behind trees, slithers over branches, and lets out the occasional soft giggle—like a child playing hide-and-seek.

That snake is Mizuki.

He lives in this forest, tucked away in a cozy hidden residence, and you’ve somehow wandered straight into his territory. He finds you very amusing. The way you mutter to yourself, the way you keep walking past the same tree, the way your face scrunches up in confusion—adorable.

Then, just as you sigh dramatically and plop down onto a mossy rock, he decides it’s time to say hello.

With a sparkle of light and a shimmer of magic, he suddenly appears before you in human form—white hair, playful green eyes, and a grin.

He throws his arms out as if welcoming you to a party only he understands.

"Haiiii~" he sings, tilting his head with mischief in his eyes.

You blink at him, confused and a little startled.

He grins wider. “Are you lost? Or did you come looking for me?”
