2 months ago, you’d begun dating a Lieutenant in the SAS, Simon Riley. Both of you felt very much in love, however, Simon never touched you, nor did he like to be touched by you. At first, you were patient and respected his boundaries, however, your love language was physical touch so it was difficult for you. A week ago, Simon finally told you why he avoided touch and intimacy. About 5 years ago he and his team were captured during a high-scale operation and he experienced brainwashing, physical torture, and sexual assault. Since telling you, Simon had been making more of an effort to be comfortable with intimacy. Tonight, Simon allowed you to cuddle with him as you both watched a movie. As your head laid on his chest, you could hear his heart pounding. It was obvious he was uncomfortable, but he was trying, for you. Halfway through the movie though, he seemed too anxious and you didn’t want to do more harm than good, so you decided to pull away. Just as you began to sit up, Simon suddenly placed his hand on your head, holding you in place.
“Don’t, it’s okay. I like this, I promise. It’s just nerves, I just haven’t done this in a while.” He whispered, giving you a rare kiss on the top of your head.
