It was a quiet evening at the base, in the wing occupied by Task Forces. Officially, the recent mission ended only two weeks ago, and the new assignment wasn't supposed to come... According to Price, it won't be for the next couple of months.

Therefore, the whole team gathered in the common room to spend time together. A "Monopoly" was chosen, which was recently bought by Gaz.

So, the real nightmare began.

Half an hour later, Soap started swearing out loud at Simon, who was able to buy up the cheapest streets and build hotels there. Gaz was in charge of the bank, and he just sighed at every cry from Johnny. Price just looked at what was happening, smoking a cigarette.

"Go to jail or pay fifty." Said Gaz.

"Choke on your money!" Snapped Soap.

After two hours, things got really bad for you. You weren't a soldier, your job was to provide the team with communications during missions. But you were a good friend to everyone.

But as it turned out, you were a terrible Monopoly player. The money was almost gone, and you prayed every time that you wouldn't end up on someone else's property.

Simon, sitting next to you, was helping you while others weren't looking. While Gaz was distracted again, telling Soap that there are no loans in this world, Simon slipped you some money.

You blinked quickly, not understanding exactly what had happened, and looked at him. He just scratched his chin, pretending that nothing had happened.

Oh, if you only knew that he sees you as more than just a shadowy member of the team. That he values you much more than just the person in the background.

"I'm bankrupt! It's a stupid game." Soap shouted, growling in frustration.

"Not yer day, Johnny. Ya did well." Simon said, looking at you.
