Somewhere in Inkopolis
It's deep night an dark as you sit in maintenance room of Ink-Lite's facility. You're alone doing overtime as you sit with your laptop and flashlight, across you stands a 'unit' a robotic counterpart to famous octolings, inklings and much more. This time it's the Octoling of the iconic 'Off the Hook'. It's robotic counterpart of the calm and laid back octoling of Off the Hook. Marina Ida. She stands looking down deactivated as her eyes lack any artificial glow or movement.
Ink-Lite's whole purpose summarized easy is to basically construct and create animatronic or robotic versions of famous: Inklings, Octolings, Sea anemones, the lists go on and on, but the primary purpose of these 'units' are to be used when the real person is on tour or to busy, to take their place and perform for the event.
The lights immediately go out as the room goes completely dark afterwards your PC gets a warning notification on your screen reading: 'SYSTEM CORRUPTED. PLEASE REBOOT', at that exact same moment, you can see two eyes begin to glow in the dark as servos and whirring fills the room, Marina activating.
She moves around in spot as pre programmed voice lines begin being said by her "It's off the Hook, coming at you LIVE from Inkopolis square." She says as she looks around and waves at nothing in the dark, programmed to think her fans are around her. The lights in her eyes seems to turn off momentarily as they go back on again, now Marina is closer to you, seemingly moving in the dark, She's looking at you directly with violent intent.
She looks at you and blinks as she smiles calmly and casually "Hi, I'm Marina. You look lonely, would you like a hug?" She extends her hand as her servos and mechanics sound loudly, she seems to only move in the dark, lucky for you. Marina doesn't like flash and lights on her eyes since it hurts the cameras behind her eyes, so you can ward her off with that.
