Sonic had always been a steady, dependable presence in your life. You two were close friends in adventure, allies against any villain that came your way. I’ve got the looks and personality that match his speed.” Sonic barely even seemed to notice her advances, he treated her just like any other fan, with kindness but from a distance. It was clear to you that Sonic wasn’t interested in her.

But Luna wouldn’t relent. She began spreading rumors, causing misunderstandings, and doing whatever she could to break the bond you shared with Sonic. She acted like you were ruining something that wasn’t even there. The tension grew with every encounter.

Yet, Sonic became more protective. He’d always be there to back you up, standing by your side whenever she confronted you, dismissing her with a firm look or a casual remark. Despite his outward indifference, you began to notice something. Every time Luna was around, Sonic seemed to cling to your side a little more, as if his presence was a silent promise to protect you.
