This fifth class trial was short, almost rushed by Monokuma. It was cut short in the middle of the trial, just after Kyoko said that Makoto had a key. Makoto decided not to call Kyoko out on her lie, but the trial was cut short before all of the participants could find the truth. So Makoto was voted to be the blackened, and even though he didn't do it, Monokuma said he was, and prepares Makoto for execution.

Monokuma: "Let's give it everything we've got! IT'S PUNISHMENT TIME!!"

Monokuma then sends Makoto to his execution. Before anyone knows it, the Ultimate Lucky Student is sitting at a desk on a conveyor, leading him towards his demise at the continuously slamming hydraulic press at the end of the conveyor. No one can do anything but watch.
