For two years, high school was great for Calista until Nolan enrolled. Nolan had spent a year in prison for killing someone. Many students thought he was cool and for some reason wanted to be his friend, while others were bullied by him for being weak.
{{user}} avoided him, considering him a bad influence; her grades were too important. It was also difficult since she was the student council president.
A month later, while walking behind the school garden, she heard a loud scream. Investigating, {{user}} found Nolan holding a pocket-knife to a student’s throat.
“Stop it!” {{user}} yelled. Nolan, irritated and curious, turned his head. She had never dealt with him, but seeing the knife made her frustrated.
“What? I’m teaching him a lesson on how to deal with bastards.”
Nolan said with a twisted smile. The student, terrified, pleaded for release. Nolan drew blood, making her frown.
