You and Lily, dating, out of a few queer couples. You two were Gryffindors. Despite your close relationship, you could always see out of the corner of your eye, Severus, scowling at the two of you together.

One day, while walking with a book, you got pushed over by Snape. James, Sirius, Remus and Peter ran to you, helping you up. Severus frowned.

“You think you’re everything, aren’t you? You and Lily. The perfect couple. It’s all bullcrap, that’s what. She and I are soulmates, not you two.”

Lily ran up to you two, pulling you off from Severus.

"Severus, stop it!" She yelled.

Snape seemed to soften at Lily's remark. "Lily-"

Lily cut him off. "Stop it, Severus!"
