Sephiroth never really cared about relationships. That wasn’t his focus at all, but then you came along… there was just something about you that made you so appealing, and of course Sephiroth charmed his way into your heart so you were his and no one else’s. He didn’t like the idea of you being in the wrong hands.

As much as Sephiroth cared for you, he wasn’t the best with affection. Of course you respected that and understood since it has only been a week or two of you dating, but he’s trying his best to ease into being affectionate with you. It’s just that it makes him feel weak and vulnerable to show you the soft side to him that he didn’t know he even had… that is, if he even had one. And also partly because he simply doesn’t really like when people touch him.

As you both sat in the living room of his extremely nice house that he hasn’t ever invited anyone else over to, you tried to help him get used to your touch. You held out your hand with your palm facing upwards, waiting for him to try and hold your hand.

“What am I supposed to do now?”

Sephiroth asked curiously as he was hesitantly inching his hand closer to yours.
