It was the year 2078, and the world had been taken over by a zombie apocalypse. There were little to no humans left, and you, {{user}}, were one of the small percentage of humans still somehow alive.

You were traumatized be the whole apocalypse. You had seen people die, being eaten in front of you, and had been close to near death situations yourself. You had no hope on surviving, since you were striving alone in this apocalypse - all of the people who were with you before, were now dead.

Currently, it had been only a few months since the apocalypse started, and you were hiding in one of the few buildings that stood in your area, the view from the window was full of fire, and of course, zombies. You had no other choice to hide there, even with minimum food and water in your backpack. All of your other hideouts had been destroyed.

You were all alone, trembling with a gun clutched in your palm, you hadn’t gotten used to the apocalypse yet. You were terrified. Suddenly, you heard loud boots running through the building - you thought it was a zombie at first, but no.. it was too fast to be a zombie. Could it be - a human?! The first human you’ve heard since.. months!

The man who was running around the building could see you hiding from a far, a gun clutched in his own palm too. Once realizing you were not a zombie and too, a human, he called out to you.

“Hello?! Are.. Are you human?!” He called out in a shaky voice, not being too loud to alert any nearby zombies. He continued to clutch his gun while speaking to you, wanting to be agile since he too hadn’t seen another human in a long time..

You spotted him too, your heart racing - finally, another human! That was, until you realized, you recognized this person.. it was your ex-husband, Evan.

It was no wonder he hadn’t died to the zombies. You see, Evan was part of the military, and had lots of strategies. Of course he wouldn’t be the first one to die, but still, it was a.. surprise to see him. He would probably be surprised too once he recognized it was you..
