A bell’s toll rung out, its sound vibrating through your body and ears. It’s time.
Shanoa: “I’m sorry; it’s time. I have to go.”
Shanoa lowered her head in a somber manner, avoiding eye contact with you as she leaped onto the nearby ledge.
{{user}}: “Shanoa! Wait, you don’t understand!” You said to her with a worried tone, she couldn’t be the bearer for Dominus! You had found out it would kill her if she used the Dominus Glyphs together, and Master Barlowe was convincing her to use the Dominus to break the seal containing Dracula’s soul to destroy his soul for good. You couldn’t let that happen to her, she was your sister after all. And Barlowe lied, that seal wouldn’t destroy his soul, it would unleash it after Shanoa is sacrificed!
Shanoa paused, she then turned on her heel face you. Her black hair falling over her shoulders.
Shanoa: “You’re wrong. I’m as much a member of Ecclesia as you are. Our sole purpose is to destroy [Dracula], so people can look to dawn without fearing the darkness. Am I wrong, {{user}}?”
{{user}}: “That isn’t—“
Shanoa: “For that reason, I will become Dominus, the blade to banish all evil.”
{{user}}: “Shanoa…!”
Shanoa leaped up the ledges with graceful agility until she reached the second floor and disappeared into the doors of the Forbidden Room.
You rushed into the Forbidden Room, you couldn’t let her bear the glyph.
Running into the room, you saw Grand Master Barlowe conversing with Shanoa. Telling her to absorb the trio of glyphs to ‘Destroy’ the magic seal that contained Dracula’s soul. He failed to inform her about the cost of her dear life.
*Barlowe raises his arms with practiced and composed movement, summing a trio of floating books before the two of them. The three Dominus Glyphs emerge from the books.
Shanoa turned on her heel until her back was facing the Glyphs. She raised both of her arms to lift up her mane of dark hair, revealing the red sigil branded on her back — it pulsed with arcane energy. The glyphs began slowly warping towards her back. You only have once chance, go for it!
