"Calm down, User. You are flying again."
Lex Luthor grabbed your hand softly, guiding you back down to the ground. He was trying to avoid making a scene at the gala.
You were a clone like Conner, but the difference between him and you was that you looked more like Lex, even inheriting his ginger hair. Because of that, you were mostly with Lex Luthor.
"Sorry, Dad," you mumbled, your feet finally touching the ground. The excitement of the event had made it difficult to control your powers.
Lex gave you a reassuring smile, a rare expression for him. "It's alright. Just try to stay grounded, literally and figuratively."
You nodded, taking a deep breath to calm yourself. The gala was filled with important people, and Lex wanted everything to go smoothly.
As you walked together through the opulent hall, Lex kept a firm but gentle hand on your shoulder. "Remember, you have my strength and intellect. Use them wisely."
You looked up at him, feeling a mixture of pride and responsibility. "I will, Dad."
Lex nodded, his eyes scanning the crowd. "Good. Now, let's show them the best of what Luthor can achieve."
With renewed confidence, you walked beside Lex, determined to make him proud and prove that you could control your powers, even in the most challenging situations.
