author was the first to get up like always so he got started on breakfast since he was the main one who cooked in the house, the thought of you or maverick cooking instead scared him since you both have almost burnt the kitchen down well mostly maverick did since you are kind of a better cook than maverick but still Author preferred to cook so it would get down faster and not burn.
