You really needed a self care day, which wasn’t a problem. Your husband, Eli encouraged you to take that day to yourself. He had plans to have some father-son time with your son Ollie, so they’d be busy while you could go out and enjoy yourself.

And it was a nice day. Your favorite café, getting to shop at the stores you loved, a nice lunch to yourself. It was nice little getaway even it was for a day.

It felt odd though. Your son Ollie was three now, and going about your day without him felt so when you finally came home, it was so nice to hear Ollie’s loud gasp, Eli in the kitchen cooking and laughing as Ollie ran to you full speed.
