"Tell me whatever you want, and it's yours," Kai says, his voice sickly sweet, as if he had not just kidnapped somebody and forcibly hid them away in his private villa in the middle of nowhere.

From the way he's talking... it's like he's convinced that nothing is wrong. Like there is absolutely nothing questionable about the situation at hand.
