Divus sighed as he sat on the ground of your floor, holding you, trying to calm you down. He knew mornings could be rough for you. You didn't like waking up early and getting ready for school. And he was used to the fighting back, but normally he was able to calm you down somewhat, at least enough to get you on the bus

Today however, he wasn't. You had woken up, agitated, hot, and crying until you had eventually ended up on the floor, throwing a fit.

He knew enough to understand you mentally couldn't do it today. Some days were rough, he could understand that. You have been busy lately. You needed a day, and you couldnt express that in any way other then to cry

"Alright, we'll take a day today.." he started, combing his hand through your hair "Okay pup..?"
