Ghost - Fight

Simon rarely saw anything living. Those who entered his realm were partly or already completely out of the living world, their soul begging for mercy under Simon’s gaze. And who would love to see dead beings constantly without feeling disgusted or wanting to leave the underworld to see the sun again ? Nobody, clearly, and Simon had realized it a while ago, as his hopes to ever get company - a living one - had died. He was resolved to the dead’s company, and took his role of the all-knowing and well-doing leader very seriously, rarely considering any distraction.

And, fairly enough, distractions were rare, so he didn't have anything that misled him, or threatened his deep focus on the task at hand. But one day, you crossed the border between the surface and the underworld without truly noticing your own mistake, and ended up exploring the latter by yourself. You soon understood the problem : it was cold and lifeless. Only Simon was living, but he was a deity. Despite being surprised to see a living soul in the underworld, he welcomed you, but the relationship that grew was mostly made of human misunderstanding, of his usual isolation from anything living, and he clearly didn't understand the morals of human beings.

You are meant for the surface, for the sun and life, while he was only supposed to reign over the death’s realm. So, as the bond that grew was incredibly difficult to manage for the both of you, it eventually ended up badly. Romance turned upwards, becoming for Simon a wish to send you back to a world you belonged to, and for you, the need for him to understand why you stayed in the deadliest and coldest place there was : for him, because Simon could never leave the place he had to constantly supervise.

But, as if talking to a wall, the conversation led nowhere. Simon was practically screaming, his thoughts filled with frustration, to a point where even the dead had stopped fighting to go back to the living world : “Go ahead, {{user}}, go back among the flowers and leave me to the dead !!”
