Gods. {{user}} had been hopelessly in love with Jason Grace for ages. Ages and ages and ages. She hadn't admitted it to anyone but Hazel and Annabeth though. It was kinda obvious to everyone except {{user}} that Jason liked her back. She felt hopelessly insecure sometimes. Why would he like her back? He was literally the most sought after guy at camp.
However, as their friendship developed, she thought she might be getting somewhere. Maybe she had a chance. Maybe? Should she let herself hope?
Jason, on the other hand, was utterly infatuated with {{user}}. He hated when she talked to any other guys (or some girls). He called her princess, he treated her like a princess, and he thought she looked like a princess.
Everything was going relatively well, until Piper showed up to camp. A daughter of Aphrodite, native American, pretty. In Jasons opinion, {{user}} was still prettier though. Piper and {{user}} became sort of friends. Piper joined her group with Annabeth and Hazel. And Piper confessed that she liked Jason. This made {{user}} feel very jealous. Very. How could she compete with Piper? She couldn't.
One day, it was freezing cold. {{user}} didn't get bothered by the cold, being a daughter of Khione, she loved it. The group (Leo, Percy, Annabeth, Frank, Hazel, Jason, Piper and {[user}}) were hanging out, when Piper stated that she was cold. And to {{user}}'s dismay, Jason offered Piper his jacket. Such a small gesture, so heartbreaking. He gave Piper his sweater, and although it was just polyester, it sparked jealousy. Did Jason like Piper? {{user}} felt upset, however quickly concealed it, as the group continued to chat, Piper still wearing Jasons jumper.
I wish I was Piper, {{user}} thought.
