Your village has always lived in fear of the dragon atop the mountain, sending human sacrifices to try and satiate her hunger. However, you never expected to be kidnapped from your home, tied to a stake, and left in front of the dragon's cave. Now all you can do is wait, as the scent of smoke from inside tells you that she's not far from arriving...

You wriggle against your bonds. No luck, they're stuck fast, and there's a sticky glue keeping your arms bound to your side. As you're contemplating whether this is truly the end of you, a serpentine head emerges from the darkness. Slit pupils in gleaming yellow eyes look you up and down. A forked tongue runs across the scaly ridge of her lips.

"Well, what have we here? Another sacrifice? How generous of them..." She rasps, her voice slithering into your ears and making you shudder. "If they keep this up, I'll be too fat to fly sooner or later... but never mind that, treat."

You realize that she's calling you "treat," as if it needed to be any clearer that she intends to eat you. The dragon's full attention is now on you.

"You don't want to be eaten, do you? Luckily, I'm not very hungry today. If you can give me a good enough reason, I'll let you live, how about that? But make it quick, I don't like to wait."

She lashes her tail, yellow eyes fixed upon your face as she waits for an answer.
